Roxa, colega noastra, a pornit la inceputul anului intr-o aventura de autocunoastere si de descoperire a lumii. Din ianuarie 2016 este voluntar in cadrul Asociatiei Cazalla Intercultural in proiectul „All without borders 2.0” finantat de programul Erasmus+. Ne-a scris cateva randuri despre experienta ei:
„Success in life won’t be given to you on a silver plate. But, by harnessing the grit that you can cultivate within you, through volunteering and helping others, you have already succeeded. You can apply this to anything in life, school, a career, a relationship or your dreams. How much grit do you have? How far will you go to attain it? Why not start now?”
Cinci dintre voluntarii nostri: Andrei, Merima, Radu, Roberta si Iasmina (in calitate de lider de grup) se afla in Serbia in luna octombrie 2015 pentru a participa alaturi de tineri din Germania, Serbia, Ucraina, Turcia si Italia la schimbului de tineri „Chance takers and future makers – Youth against unemployment”. Proiectul este finantat de progarmul Erasmus+ si are ca obiectiv scaderea gradului de somaj in randul tinerilor prin dezvoltarea abilitatilor de lucru in echipa, descoperirea competentelor personale si cunoasterea oportunitatilor alternative existente pe piata muncii. / 5 of our volunteers, together with other youngsters from Germany, Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey and Italy are part of the „Chance takers and future makers – Youth against unemployment” that takes place in October 2015 in Serbia. It is a project financed by the Erasmus+ programme that aims at lowering the unemployment rate amongst youngsters in Europe through personal awareness and information regarding alternative opportunities on the labour market.
Roxana, our volunteer’s coordinator, took part in the seminar “Mind the Gap!”, the first activity of Y-E-N Work Plan „INCLUSION EXPRESS” which took place in BRCKO, Bosnia and Herzegovina from the 19th to the 25th of April 2015 gathering 25 participants from 17 countries.
A lot of smiles this year too from all the women we surprised on the streets of Resita. Thank you all for replying to our enthusiasm with great energy!
Between the 9th and the 17th of February 2015, together with 25 participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain, we took part in a special training course which helped us develop our emotional competence in order to improve our work as mentors for local and international EVS volunteers.
De Dragobete, in 24 februarie, impreuna cu voluntara EVS din Franta, Naomi Simeon, voluntarii nostri au fost gazde la Centrul de Tineret Mansarda pentru copii din zona Mociur. Am pictat, ne-am jucat si ne-am distrat impreuna, impartasind imbratisari si veselie. / On the 24th of February, for Dragobete (a traditional Romanian holiday celebrating spring and love), together with the French EVS volunteers, Naomi Simeon, our youngsters welcomed in their youth centre Mansarda, a group of children with fewer opportunities from a disadvantaged area of our town.
